In order to get the job, and subsequently the money, you may have to agree to tight deadlines that have you working overtime, which seeps into your personal life. If you don’t meet the milestones set by the client, you run the risk of not getting paid or having your feedback and ratings compromised.
If you notice that there is an imbalance in your personal and professional life, you might want to reevaluate your current business model to see if it is meeting your needs for flexibility and self-care.
For example, you may choose to become an affiliate marketer, where you are able to upload product review blog posts on your own time frame. Over time, your income could match or exceed what you are earning as a service provider.
